Proverbs 22:13
A lazy man is full of excuses. "I can't go to work!" he says. "If i go outside, i might meet a lion in the streets and be killed.
Most of us have lives that are full of excuses. You complain of not having bus fare but you have legs. Things will only start moving the moment you start living life as if you had no other option.
Are we not serving the same God Samson served? The one who gave him strength to kill a lion with his bear hands? (Judges 14:5).
Have you also forgotten the story of Daniel? When God protected him in a den full of hungry lions? (Daniel 6:16)
The problem with us is that we continuously allow excuses to write off our success.
David talks about the Lord being His shepherd, giving him strength to walk through the valley of the shadow of death. (Psalms 23)
Try re-evaluating yourself today and find out who your shepherd is. Is it 'Excuses' or the true living God. if it is the true living God, then remember that He has "given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you." (Luke 10:19)
"My word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me
empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for
which I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11). This verse is a reassurance that every word He spoke concerning our lives will come to pass in Jesus name. If He said He will bless us, then He will surely bless us. But remember that you have to move out of your comfort zone. Move out of your bed even if you don't have bus fare. Let God find you at the bus station.
"Draw near to God an He will Draw near to you" James 4:8. God bless you H.O.T family
